Dental Hygienists
Teri
I’m Teri. As a registered dental hygienist, I got in to the field of dentistry to help people be healthier and have been doing this for 40 years. I grew up in Kent, Washington and love driving my mini-horses in parades, rodeos, shows and other events around the area. Another fun fact is that I am also currently a massage therapist. I love my job here at Kettle Falls Dentistry. I worked here in 2019 and then started back in March of 2024 after commuting to Spokane.
Janice
Hello, I’m Janice. I have been a registered dental hygienist for 44 years and joined the clinic in 2019 after moving back from Arizona. I have been in the field of dentistry since the age of 14 when I had a summer job. I grew up in St Helens, Oregon along the Columbia River. I love doing charity work in animal rescue and have been an Iditarod dog handler. I repelled the 24 stories of the Bank of America building for a Special Olympics fund raiser. I returned to Whitworth University for a Humanities Degree and graduated magna cum laude in 2016.
Dental Assistants
Almira
My name is Almira. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I have a passion for the outdoors and a love for adventure. Whether its hiking, paddle boarding, or simply going on a walk; I’m constantly reminded why I’ve chosen this area as my home. My enthusiasm for our landscape extends to our community where I often like to spend my time volunteering and working for events dedicated to bringing live music to the tri-county area. I am lucky enough to spend the bulk of my time at KFFD as a dental assistant. I’ve always loved working with people and feel that I’m able to provide patients with a unique and empathetic perspective on care due to a genetic condition that has impacted me every day and made me a lifetime friend to this dental office. I work with an awesome team that is truly devoted to our patients.
Chris
I'm Chris. I grew up in the Colville area and have been a dental assistant for 30 years. I have a real love for animals of any kind, and of nature. Boating, camping, hiking and kayaking are my favorite ways to spend my time outside of work. I've always had an interest in the medical field in general and started working as a veterinary assistant and receptionist at 18. When I wanted a change, I got in to dentistry. I currently wear a lot of hats in our office, not only as a dental assistant, but also do the purchasing, fill in at the front desk and anywhere I'm needed. My favorite thing about my job is the difference we can make in our patients' smiles. We can help them go from being unwilling to smile at all to a beautiful smile that they're proud to show off.
Kristine
I'm Kristine. The last 30 years I resided in South Carolina where I started in dentistry 26 years ago. By traveling with my husband for his job the last six years, I've had the opportunity to work in dentistry in several states. I really like helping patients achieve a beautiful smile and I feel I bring a lot of compassion and sincerity to my patients. I am happy my husband brought me to this beautiful state where we are taking advantage of the great outdoors! In our spare time we love to travel all over the world, and we are very big into history. I must say I'm so happy to be included with this wonderful group at KFFD and being a part of this dental family.
Front Desk
Tracy
I’m Tracy and I have been in the dental world since 2009, having sold my medical billing company I owned for 18 years prior because I needed a change. I am the overlord of the front desk and the barbarian queen of insurance and all other things related to the front office. I love kayaking, skiing, hiking, and stacking rocks. I have a rock & wood art business and have published three children’s picture books. I also substitute at the middle & high schools on Fridays to keep my teaching certificate alive and because I love playing dodgeball or geeking out over science, art, music, and history.
Emily
Hi I'm Emily, aka the office mom. I love this title because I am very lucky to have a variety of things I do. I love getting to know our patients, feeling connected to our community in a special way. I'm so thankful to see our team members value their work and value each other as they aim to help and serve our patients with their dental needs. I have a unique insight being married to the Dentist and have marveled at the compassion and dedication he constantly and consistently gives. I have learned much of the ins and outs of what makes a dental office run smoothly and have appreciated the role each team member plays. When I'm not at the office, I enjoy early morning walks and jogs with the dogs. I love quality moments with family and friends. I love being a massage therapist and helping people keep their bodies in motion effectively and happily.
